Confluent completed the aggressive task of developing 11 new ground-up, build-to-suit Walmart Neighborhood Markets in Virginia and Oklahoma. All of the stores were completed within 20 months of the first project’s assignment to delivery of the final store. The development project featured Walmart’s prototypical neighborhood market stores and fuel centers onsite. All sites included a multitude of complicated municipal entitlements including rezoning, extensive public improvements, neighborhood cooperation, and acquisition of surplus property, which Confluent Development successfully delivered in order to accommodate our client’s building designs.
